Period Mela in Chandrapur, Maharashtra
At the Period Mela Awareness Event in Chandrapur, Maharashtra the Ujaas brought together 371 ASHA workers and 10 officers to strengthen menstrual health awareness.
Through interactive games, open conversations, and learning sessions, frontline health workers explored menstrual hygiene, challenged deep-rooted myths, and shared real community experiences.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Sheetal Gargilwar, District Mission Manager; Mr. Pravin Bhandarkar, District Mission Manager.
